Integration

Planned NetSuite Integration for Inbound Shipments

NetSuite is a leading cloud ERP for finance, inventory, and procurement. Our roadmap includes a direct integration that will sync purchase orders, shipment milestones, invoice data, and receiving confirmations between InboundShipments and NetSuite, giving your team end-to-end inbound visibility without switching systems.

Planned Integration Capabilities

These features are on our roadmap for the NetSuite integration. CSV import and export is available today as a bridge.

Planned PO Sync

Our roadmap includes automatic synchronization of purchase orders from NetSuite into InboundShipments, eliminating the need for manual re-entry of PO data.

Upcoming Invoice Matching

A planned feature will allow commercial invoices extracted by AI in InboundShipments to be pushed back to NetSuite for three-way matching against POs and receiving records.

Item Catalog Mapping

We are designing a mapping layer so NetSuite item records, including HTS codes and descriptions, can stay in sync with the InboundShipments item catalog.

Landed Cost Data Transfer

Freight charges, duties, and other costs tracked in InboundShipments are planned to flow into NetSuite landed cost records for accurate inventory valuation.

Shipment Status Updates

Real-time container tracking milestones from InboundShipments are designed to be surfaced in NetSuite as custom fields, giving your procurement team visibility without switching tools.

Receiving Confirmation Sync

When goods are received in InboundShipments, a planned integration will create or update item receipts in NetSuite to keep warehouse and finance records aligned.

Why Connecting InboundShipments and NetSuite Matters

NetSuite handles your financials and inventory. InboundShipments handles the inbound journey. Connecting them will close the data gap.

1

Eliminate double data entry between systems

NetSuite users often re-key PO details and shipment data into separate tracking tools. A planned integration with InboundShipments would keep both systems in sync automatically, reducing manual work and the errors that come with it.

2

Get inbound visibility that NetSuite does not provide natively

NetSuite excels at financial management and inventory, but it does not offer real-time ocean container tracking, 40+ shipment milestones, or demurrage and detention monitoring. InboundShipments fills that gap today, and a direct integration will make the data flow seamless.

3

Faster three-way matching with AI-extracted invoice data

InboundShipments uses AI to extract line items from commercial invoices. Once the planned NetSuite integration is available, this extracted data can be sent directly into NetSuite for matching against purchase orders and receipts, accelerating your AP workflow.

4

Accurate landed costs without spreadsheet calculations

Tracking freight, duty, insurance, and handling charges across shipments is tedious in spreadsheets. InboundShipments captures these costs during the shipment lifecycle. The upcoming integration will push finalized costs into NetSuite for proper inventory valuation.

5

Use InboundShipments today, connect to NetSuite when ready

You do not need to wait for the integration to get value. InboundShipments works standalone with CSV import and export. When the NetSuite integration ships, connecting the two systems will be a configuration step, not a migration project.
