Integration

Connect InboundShipments with Manhattan Associates WMS

The planned Manhattan Associates integration is designed to bridge inbound shipment visibility with warehouse execution. Sync ASN data, coordinate dock appointments, and automate receiving updates between InboundShipments and Manhattan Active WM.

Planned integration capabilities

These features are on our roadmap to connect InboundShipments inbound visibility with Manhattan warehouse execution.

ASN Synchronization

The planned integration is designed to push advance shipment notices from InboundShipments directly into Manhattan Active WM, giving your warehouse team accurate pre-arrival data for every inbound load without manual data entry.

Dock Scheduling Coordination

Upcoming dock scheduling synchronization will allow InboundShipments ETA data to flow into Manhattan appointment scheduling, so receiving docks are reserved automatically as shipment arrival windows become clear.

Bi-Directional Receiving Updates

The roadmap includes bi-directional data flow so that when goods are receipted in Manhattan WMS, quantities and discrepancy notes sync back to InboundShipments, closing the loop on every PO line without duplicate entry.

Inbound Order Handoff

Planned order-level synchronization will map InboundShipments purchase orders to Manhattan inbound orders, ensuring item details, expected quantities, and supplier information are consistent across both platforms.

Putaway Readiness Signals

This upcoming integration is designed to share real-time shipment status with Manhattan WMS so warehouse managers can plan labor and putaway resources around confirmed arrival times rather than static estimates.

Unified Receiving Analytics

By combining InboundShipments tracking data with Manhattan WMS receiving metrics, the planned integration will give operations teams a single view of supplier performance from shipment origin through warehouse putaway.

Why connecting InboundShipments and Manhattan WMS matters

Bridging inbound logistics and warehouse management eliminates the data gaps that slow down receiving.

1

Eliminate manual data re-entry between systems

Warehouse teams currently re-key ASN details, PO references, and expected quantities when shipments arrive. The planned Manhattan integration will automate this handoff so receiving associates can focus on physical goods handling instead of data entry.

2

Improve dock utilization with earlier arrival visibility

Manhattan appointment scheduling is most effective when accurate ETAs are available well in advance. By feeding InboundShipments tracking data into Manhattan, dock schedules can be set and adjusted based on real carrier updates rather than static planned dates.

3

Accelerate goods receipt and inventory availability

When Manhattan WMS knows exactly what is arriving and when, receiving teams can stage labor and equipment in advance. The result is faster unloading, quicker putaway, and inventory that becomes available for fulfillment sooner.

4

Close the PO lifecycle automatically

Once Manhattan WMS confirms receipt, the planned sync will update the corresponding PO in InboundShipments with actual quantities received, variance notes, and timestamps so procurement and finance have a complete record without chasing the warehouse for updates.
